This new recall affects the 2026 Chevrolet Silverado EV and the 2026 GMC Sierra EV models. The recall includes a<strong> warning light problem <\/strong>in the<strong> stability control system.<\/strong> This problem has affected about 1,200 Silverado EV and GMC Sierra EV vehicles.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Recently, General Motors addressed its stability control system issue. The stability control system helps your vehicle stay stable and prevents it from spinning out. If the system is having problems, it means that there is a chance that the warning light on your dashboard <\/span><b>may not<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> work properly. This can put the driver and passengers at risk of getting hurt and increase the chances of an accident. This vehicle recall includes several <\/span><b>Sierra EV vehicles <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">that were <\/span><b>built between February 12th, 2025 and June 23rd, 2025 <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and <\/span><b>Silverado EV vehicles that were built between February 19th, 2025 and June 23rd, 2025 <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. A dashboard light malfunction is extremely dangerous, and if it is not addressed, it can lead to your vehicle&#8217;s dashboard not illuminating, resulting with the increased chance of multiple collisions.
