At Jones & Swanson, we believe our commitment to the community goes beyond delivering exceptional legal services. We\u2019re dedicated to making a difference in Cobb County by supporting and strengthening local initiatives. Recently, our team has been grateful to participate in a variety of community projects, helping to boost programs that serve our neighbors. In this blog, we\u2019re excited to share updates on our recent efforts, along with some in-house news! Join us as we highlight local causes and the steps we\u2019re taking to help build a stronger, more connected community for everyone.<\/p>\n

COPS AND KIDS<\/h2>\n

For yet another year, Jones & Swanson is proud to show our support for the local Lodge 13 Cops and Kids<\/a>\u00a0charity program. The North Metro Fraternal Order of Police<\/a> created this program to help foster meaningful connections between law enforcement and their communities. Cops and Kids is made up of both retired and active law enforcement officials who work to provide necessities and help nurture a safe, supportive environment. This group works tirelessly every year to provide children with school supplies, food pantry items, and provide holiday gifts to children in need.<\/p>\n

Jones & Swanson has donated each year for almost a decade, and we hope that many others will extend their support. There is no minimum amount to help the program; even giving your time to this charitable cause could make a huge impact!<\/p>\n

CCBA 6TH ANNUAL HUNGER GAMES<\/h2>\n

This year the Cobb County Bar Association(CCBA) ran their 6th Annual Hunger Games. Hunger Games is a group effort to help collect non-perishables and donations to support the Marietta City Schools Food Pantry. This food pantry provides necessary meals to Marietta City School students in our community who lack access to regular meals outside of school.<\/p>\n

Jones & Swanson was excited to help donate all of a kid’s favorites to the CCBA Hunger Games with the help of Marietta’s local 5-year-old Martha M. who helped choose what kids like her want! If you want to help Marietta City Schools, check out their Swap-It Closet and Food Pantry here<\/a>.<\/p>\n
