However, it is important to remind ourselves about the dangers associated with the holiday and consider these important safety tips.<\/p>\n<h2>PLAN AHEAD<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>If you plan to enjoy a few drinks this Labor Day weekend, arrange for a ride. Never get behind the wheel of a car if you are not sober. Remember, buzzed driving is\u00a0drunk driving.<\/li>\n<li>If you plan to light up the grill this weekend, ensure it is in working condition. Check for gas leaks, cracks, or any potential fire hazards that lurk in your cooking area.<\/li>\n<li>Check your local laws for fireworks. If you plan to set off fireworks this weekend, make sure you are aware of local burn bans and familiarize yourself with Georgia Law.<\/li>\n<li>It is important to keep up to date on recent\u00a0health and safety\u00a0news. Check for\u00a0any local guidelines or restrictions before you leave your home.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>PAY ATTENTION<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-size: 19px;\" aria-level=\"1\">If you\u2019re at a\u00a0pool, lake, or beach this weekend, always keep an eye on your loved ones for potential dangers or accidents, even if a lifeguard is present. It may be tempting to continue drinking sugary drinks or alcoholic beverages continuously, but remember to take breaks!<\/li>\n<li>This weekend will be hot and sunny!
