The company announced that because of an issue with the steering bolts, the steering wheel could come loose or even completely fall off. Obviously this poses a major concern for occupants of these vehicles. So far, there have been two reported accidents and one injury.<\/p>\n<p>The affected vehicle models from this defect are Ford Fusion and Lincoln MKZ, manufactured between 2014-2018.<\/p>\n<h2>All Versions Of The Ford Fusion Are Affected, Including:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Fusion Platinum<\/li>\n<li>Fusion Hybrid Platinum<\/li>\n<li>Fusion Energi Platinum<\/li>\n<li>Fusion S<\/li>\n<li>Fusion SE<\/li>\n<li>Fusion Sport<\/li>\n<li>Fusion SE<\/li>\n<li>Fusion S<\/li>\n<li>Hybrid Titanium<\/li>\n<li>Hybrid SE<\/li>\n<li>Hybrid S<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>And All Versions Of The Lincoln Mkz Are Affected, Which Include:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Lincoln MKZ Hybrid Premier<\/li>\n<li>Lincoln MKZ Black Label<\/li>\n<li>Lincoln MKZ Premier<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Ford Motor Company also recalled an additional 6,000 Focus and Fusion vehicle models due to a fire hazard from a fracture in the clutch pressure plate. The vehicles below are listed as affected:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ford Focus (models between 2013-2016) \u2013 Fox GTDI engine and B6 manual transmissions<\/li>\n<li>Ford Fusion (models between 2013-2015) \u2013 Sigma GTDI engines and B6 manual transmissions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Ford advises that anyone who owns one of the affected models to immediately take their vehicle to their nearest Ford dealer for corrections.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ford Motor Company announced recalls that affect millions of vehicles commonly driven on Georgia roadways.
