As cooler weather arrives and we prepare for the holidays, we wanted to share some of the new and interesting things going on at Jones & Swanson. We are very excited to introduce the newest member of our team, Kate Williams<\/a>. She will be working as a receptionist and legal assistant in the office and brings with her a wealth of experience. Kate graduated from Georgia College & State University in 2011 and she now lives with her husband in Alpharetta. She will be an outstanding addition to the firm and will provide our clients with the same care and attention you’ve come to expect from our office.<\/p>\n

The 13th Annual Sleighbells on the Square 5K Race, which is organized by the Cobb County Bar Association, will be held on December 14, 2013 on the Marietta Square. This is a great community event with the purpose of raising funds for the Cobb Children’s Emergency Fund which provides children and their families with monetary aid in emergency circumstances. The funds are maintained and dispersed by the Cobb Bar, so there are no administrative expenses. This means that 100% of the proceeds from this race go to helping those in our community who need it most. Jones & Swanson is a proud sponsor of the race each year, and we hope you will join us! If you would like to be a sponsor this year, please contact<\/a> Jones & Swanson as soon as possible. Sponsorship packages start at only $250 and it’s for a great cause!<\/p>\n

On a less serious note, many of you may be aware of the “firm outings” that occur at Jones & Swanson. Every so often, Andrew will plan an event for everyone at the firm to participate in as a group outside of work hours. The purpose is to enjoy each other’s company and to get to know each other on a more personal level. This month, Andrew took many of our firm members to the Luke Bryan concert in Villa Rica, Georgia. Not only did the firm get to enjoy the show, but Andrew obtained four meet and greet passes for the ladies at Jones & Swanson to be able to meet Luke! We’ve provided some photos on our Facebook page if you’d like to check them out.<\/p>\n
