The average car in the United States weighs 4,000 pounds. Compared to a pedestrian weighing only hundreds of pounds, vehicles are extremely dangerous.<\/p>\n<p>Just this morning, a woman was struck and killed at the Duluth Highway and Medical Center Boulevard intersection. This intersection is located in front of Gwinnett Medical Center in Lawrenceville. Unfortunately, this was the second <a href=\"https:\/\/www.awjlaw.com\/marietta\/pedestrian-accident-lawyer\/\">Gwinnett County pedestrian accident<\/a> in the last three days, both resulting in fatalities. On Tuesday morning, another pedestrian was struck on the ramp from Georgia 20 to Interstate 85 Northbound. The pedestrian was crossing the ramp when a vehicle struck him.<\/p>\n<p>While pedestrian-automobile crashes are often devastating, it is not always the fault of either the driver or the pedestrian. Regardless of who was at fault, it is imperative that you know what to do following a pedestrian accident.
